Register Now with the Friends of NCPTT (3rd Party Registration)The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, the National Center for Technology and Training, the Friends of NCPTT, and the National NAGPRA Program, will partner to offer a four-day course on the statute, regulations, requirements, and compliance aspects of NAGPRA.

The objectives are to introduce participants to the purpose and requirements of Native Americans Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).  Classroom instruction will include discussions with NAGPRA representatives from Indian tribes who will share their responsibilities and experiences.  The workshop will conclude with demonstrations of innovative technologies that can be used for documenting artifacts prior to repatriation as well as for current and future research.

The conference rooms are located in the back of the headquarters.

Since workshops and conferences fill quickly, please sign up as early as possible. If you need to withdraw from an event, you must contact the organizer in writing via email at Tad_Britt@nps.gov or fax at (318) 356-9119.

Cancellations more than 30 days prior to an event will be fully refunded less a $30 administrative fee. No refunds will be available for cancellations within 30 days of the event. If the Friends of NCPTT must cancel an event, the Friends of NCPTT will refund your registration fee.
