Clemson University & College of Charleston Historic Preservation Summer Institute
About this Event
The Clemson/College of Charleston Summer Historic Preservation Institute invites undergraduate students to immerse themselves in Charleston’s unique history, architecture, and culture while gaining valuable hands-on experience in historic preservation. With Charleston as our classroom, institute participants will learn about our world-renown buildings and landscapes by touring them. Under graduate program faculty supervision, participants will complete projects involving measured drawing, stone conservation, and laser total station mapping at one of the city’s historic cemeteries.
