The combined 58th Caddo Conference and 23rd Annual East Texas Archeological Conference will take place March 31-April 2, 2016 with Thomas J. Rusk Academy of Fine Arts serving as the host venue. The Caddo Conference is an annual conference bringing together researchers, Caddo Indians, and people interested in Caddo language, history, and the archaeology of the Caddo Area in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. The East Texas Archeological Conference focuses on the archeology from the same area. The conference will feature papers and symposia on the various aspects of this region with papers lasting around 20 minutes and symposia lasting up to two hours long.
