Yucca House National Monument is an unexcavated Puebloan surface site. It is one of the largest archaeological sites in southwest Colorado. Yucca House undergoes long-term preservation so archaeologists can continue to study this site. Archaeologists believe this site holds the key for future understanding of American Indian heritage.
