In a celebration of the arts, NCPTT recently collaborated with Northwestern State University’s Theatre and Dance program to present Modern in Motion V at Lee H. Nelson Hall. This site specific work was choreographed by Brett Garfinkel, Kirstin Riehl and Cher Anabo, to highlight both the talents and of the students and the unique features of historic Nelson Hall. This National Register listed building was built as a gymnasium in 1923 and has housed NCPTT since 2001.

At the dress rehearsal Garfinkel said, “The space is so beautiful and we are glad to be able to use it. We will be able to get students in the building and show them what the NCPTT does. This the first time many of the students have performed a site specific work. They are understanding the process and rising to the occasion.”
