The APT Training and Education Committee and APT’s Western Great Lakes Chapter are hosting the workshop “Historic Finishes.” This workshop is funded in part by NCPTT. The two-day workshop will be held on June 14 and 15, 2013, at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin near Spring Green, Wisconsin. Lectures on wood finishes, paint, plaster, and metal finishes will be combined with hands-on field sessions at Taliesin. Instructors will include Kyle Normandin and Arlen Heginbotham of The Getty Conservation Institute, conservator Rosa Lowinger, and a craftsman (to be identified).
