NCPTT partnered with the National Association of Tribal Historic Preservation Officers (NATHPO) to host a preservation technology fair at the NATHPO annual meeting. NCPTT arranged for ten presenters to share information on the state-of-the-science technologies for conservation and preservation of cultural heritage. On Monday, September 10, a day-long technology fair was held that brought together experts on geophysics, 3D scanning, building evaluation, wood science, and more. Heritage Preservation provided information on emergency readiness, including NCPTT’s smart phone applications of the emergency salvage wheel. NCPTT provided information on past Preservation Technology and Training Grants as well as the upcoming call for proposals.
