As more and more rehabilitation projects aim for LEED certification, the need increases for preservation professionals to understand the certification process. While this workshop is designed to prepare participants to take the LEED exam, it will also be useful for folks who simply want to become more familiar with the LEED process. One needn't be an architect to benefit from this workshop.

I'm an architectural historian doing Section 106 (and other) project review for the SHPO. Since I am not trained as an architect, is this material likely to be over my head?

Thanks.

The course workshop will be taught by Donna Isaacs, a USGBC LEED AP, graduate of University of Florida and Miami-Dade College. She currently instructs LEED workshops with the University of Florida Center for Training, Research, and Education for Environmental Occupations (www.treeo.ufl.edu). A workbook will be provided.
