David Morgan of NCPTT co-authored a paper delivered in Bristol, England, at the annual Contemporary and Historical Archaeology in Theory conference titled, “Things and Words—Bringing Together the Material and Historical Records of the Isle Brevelle, Cane River, Natchitoches, Louisiana.” The paper focused on the archeological and social implications of the translation of historic French documents spanning 1780-1810.
