NCPTT materials conservator Jason Church was selected from applicants across the United States to participate in the 2006 Metals Conservation Summer Institute sponsored by the Higgins Armory Museum and the Metal Processing Institute at Worchester Polytechnic Institute. The institute provided participants with hands-on, lab-based opportunities to investigate the fields of metallurgy and conservation from a new perspective, using the combined facilities, faculties and collections of nationally recognized museums and universities.
