The NCPTT Heritage Education Program entered into an agreement with educational curriculum consultants and educational technology specialists to enhance the NCPTT Heritage Education curriculum.
The focus of the curriculum development is community main streets. The curriculum will be applicable to any town or city, even if a formal Main Street program does not exist.
Learners will engage in interdisciplinary lessons to meet state and national educational standards, while simultaneously learning about their community and its history.
