Graveyard Preservation Primer

A Graveyard Preservation Primer by Lynn Strangstad. This book covers the
entire spectrum and includes surveying a cemetery to determine what most needs to
be repaired or restored, preparing a plan for a restoration project, documenting
data from and about the stones, cleaning, repairing and resetting stones.

The Association for Gravestone Studies was founded in 1977 for the purpose of furthering
