Working with curriculum standards, education terms and the culture of formal education varies significantly from the interactions and duties of an interpretive ranger. Developing an interpretive program to promote cultural resource stewardship while also supporting the needs of learners typically engaged in a structured learning environment can be daunting to even the best field educator. This hour-long broadcast will examine how heritage education bridges the gap between the resource and the classroom. The broadcast will also consider the relationships and opportunities surrounding the Centennial Challenge, Interpretation and Education Renaissance and the Directors "trifecta" of goals.
